What's Included in the Price?

Our permit-ready plan packages include the drawings typically required for permitting, including site plan, floor plans, exterior elevations, building sections, structural details (as applicable), electrical, mechanical, and plumbing plans.

APEX Price also includes your site plan, Manual J HVAC Calculations, and permit submittal process. Most drafting companies charge more for these services. These items are required to obtain a building permit from any governing municipality.

How Much Does a Set of Plans Cost?

Every project is unique, and pricing is based on the size, scope, and complexity of the project.

• Minimum Project Fee: $1,500.00

• Small additions, remodels, garages, patios, porch enclosures, and similar projects are quoted individually based on the size, scope of work, and complexity. At APEX We understand how important budget is, and we’ll do our best to work with you to find a fair, flexible solution that makes sense for everyone and earns your business.

• Fully permitted custom home construction plans start at $2.00 - $3.00 per livable square foot.

• Custom home attached garages, covered porches, and similar attached structures start at $1.50+ per square foot.

How Long Does It Take?

• Small projects (including covered porches, home additions, casitas, guest houses, and ADUs): Approximately 1 – 3 weeks
• Custom homes up to 3,000 sq. ft. (under roof): 15 - 30 days or less
• Custom homes 5,000 sq. ft. and up (under roof): 30 - 45 days or less
